For any of you traveling this summer, I have created a tapping (EFT) video for you to use to prevent, or reduce, jet lag symptoms. For prevention, do this mediation every hour or two while you are in transit. If you already have jet lag symptoms, do this meditation multiple times during the day until you have relief. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with tapping, it is based on acupuncture meridians. By tapping on parts of the body where the skin is a little thinner, you create a light electrical stimulation that signals your body to shift from the sympathetic to the parasympathetic nervous system. In other words, your body shifts from alert to calm. It is a kind of desensitization therapy in which you decouple a stressful thought from a stress response.
